چکیده

The operation of thermal diodes is typically limited to narrow temperature ranges and low rectification steady-state heat currents. Despite their key application in computing, the analogy electronic counterparts, development operating with modulated currents has not received much attention. Based on spatiotemporal modulation a material's conductivity volumetric capacity, authors give proof principle diode that can rectify current waves. Rectification factors higher than 86% are obtained as frequencies driving propagation waves decrease.
